Dude. EXACTLY. I'm sitting here trying to figure that out myself. There's so many carvings on here that look like they took ages to do and out of all the ones they choose - this one. I mean no offense but I am for people who took the time and audacity to make theirs the best out of the best and who've shown that they put a whole lot of effort (the most that they can give) to win. What pisses me off honestly, are judges who don't consider that but think about being "fair" to people who they think "will never get the chance in a million years to win." I know it sounds evil (and even though it's not ALWAYS the case), it somewhat seems like equality for the mere "underdog" has gone a little to far - especially when you take out people who've given up far more time to work on their pieces. The judging process is really going downhill.
